Free Gospel Bible Institute

Free Gospel Bible Institute (FGBI) was born in a mighty outpouring of the Spirit during the 1957 Free Gospel Camp Meeting.  Out of this glorious manifestation of Pentecostal power, God birthed a place where students would separate from the world and consecrate themselves fully to the service of the Lord. 

FGBI operates from a “Spirit First” perspective.  God has designed the church to be

 … builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Eph. 2:22) 

The Holy Spirit always works in line with The Word of God in transforming believers to reflect the image of Jesus Christ.  Whatever the Word of God requires, the Holy Spirit enables in the life of the believer. 

It is our burden to provide the Biblical understanding necessary, as well as the spiritual climate, for our students to experience true Biblical transformation.

Salvation, The Pentecostal Experience, Sanctification and True Ministry are all out workings of the Holy Ghost!

Before daily classes even begin, faculty and students are called to a place of prayer.  The Holy Spirit is given priority in each and every class. 

Over a period of three years, qualified teachers such as Rev. Thomas Peretic, Rev. Aaron Hough, Rev. Jacob Jellison, Rev. Zane Estis, Dr. Tim Hudson, Rev. Kevin Lloyd, Rev. William Finley, and many others, pour out a lifetime of knowledge and anointing to our student body. 

Students become familiar with the doctrinal and practical aspects of Scripture.  They are also equipped to

… sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15) 

For more than 60 years we have experienced the triumphs of faith as God has miraculously provided everything Free Gospel Bible Institute has needed. 

The 75 acres of land, three dormitory buildings, a full-service cafeteria, a 5,000 square foot library, classrooms, as well as the food we serve, are all testimonies to the working of faith in the lives of faculty and students alike. 

FGBI is God’s work and He sustains it miraculously every day!

As a student, you will also be given the opportunity to minister in practical ways.  Each year we travel across the USA ministering in churches like yours.  We have done this from our inception. 

We continue to see God transform ordinary young people into anointed pastors, teachers, preachers, evangelists, missionaries, children’s ministers and singers. 

We send teams of students to various parts of the world through our SENT Missions Program. 

Ministry in our local church and outreach to our community is also available to students.

We present an in-depth study of God’s Word over a three year period of time (forty-two different classes). 

Students are presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity to get alone with God, develop a prayer life that works, and learn the foundational and experiential truths of truly being born again.

God has instructed us to make it financially possible for anyone who desires to draw closer to Him to attend FGBI. Therefore, we trust the Lord to meet the needs of the school as well as those of the student. 

We do not charge for rooms, meals, or tuition.  Our entrance fees are extremely reasonable making FGBI a possibility for anyone desiring to attend a Holiness Bible Institute.

FGBI graduates have impacted the Holiness Movement on the mission fields of the world, behind the pulpits of our camp meetings and churches.

We continue to emphasize the Holiness and Pentecostal doctrines so men and women such as you may embrace the call of God to a life of consecration and service.
