Holiness And The Vision For The Lost

One of the greatest misconceptions is that many feel that living a Holy Life is all there is to being a Christian. Yet nothing could be further from the truth.

Living a Holy Life as God requires is only part of the parcel. Jesus put it in perspective when He appeared to his disciples that were hiding in a locked room

John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Part of being Holiness is having a vision to see the lost be saved. If we miss this, we have missed the reason Christ came.

Brother Scott

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in march of 1984. I was in the Navy at this time. It became my greatest desire to draw closer to God. Since that day I have been led by God's Spirit and the scriptures to live a life of Holiness. Holiness is not a bunch of rules, but rather it is the conviction and desire that I am pleasing to God in my life. These convictions are then what set the boundaries of my conduct and actions in life.
