Working Together

An important aspect of “ministry” is knowing those that we labor together with for the furtherance of the Kingdom of Heaven. Paul continually mentions those that work for the Lord. Notice his admonishment to those in Thessolanica:

1Thess 5:12-13 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

Jesus himself gives us instruction on this matter.

Mar 9:38-40 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

With this in mind, we would like to share information about the ministry that God has called them to. We are inviting these ministries to tell us about themselves, what they do, who they minister to, and why they do it.

Feel free to contact them, visit their websites and social media pages, and even share this with others.

Note that those we recommend here are ones we have confidence in. Each ministry listed has, in our experience, helped to promote the body of Christ.

There are many other outstanding ministries not listed that we have not had the pleasure to get to know. There are also those that we will be adding to this list.

Bible Colleges

This link will open in a separate page with a listing of Bible Schools that still teach and practice biblical Holiness today.

Pursuing Virtue (A Blog For Women)

Pursuing Virtue is a collective effort to share thoughts on inner beauty all while creating a community for godly women. Godly Women are all on this pursuit together and it is the hope that this blog will unify, encourage, and inspire Godly women to live boldly and unashamed.

For the purpose of full disclosure – I personally know all four young ladies that run this blog, and Shayla is my daughter in law.

Holiness Voices Radio

It’s online radio for those who enjoy the sounds of the holiness people and it is offered by holiness people. Br Boyer and Br Mower believe that the holiness people need a place where their music is played and can be listened to.

Holiness Messenger

Since August of 1953, the Holiness Messenger has become an important focal point of information for the Independent Holiness People by broadening and tightening their bonds of fellowship. It is available in both published form and it is available in an online edition.

The Holiness Messenger is intended to acquaint you with the resources, missionary endeavors, ministries, events and people of the Holiness fellowship.

Abundant Grace Youth Ministries

Cody and Rebecca Sellers stepped into a public juvenile detention center for the first time in 2018. Impressed with the enormity of the spiritual and emotional needs represented there, they felt the burden of taking the Gospel into this often forgotten area. The current work involves Bible studies, Bible distribution, and other special programs.

Since the beginning of this ministry, others have joined to support the work that is right in the backyard of the church.

Lighthouse Holiness Ministries

It is the Morgans’ desire to not only lead men and women to Christ, but to also facilitate Bible knowledge so that men and women will carry the Gospel to their neighbor.  Therefore, the “El Faro de Santidad Instituto de Correspondencia de Estudios Biblicos” (Lighthouse Holiness Correspondence Institute of Biblical Studies) was established.  This is a comprehensive Bible Study Course of 274 studies which have a question for approximately every 2 ½ verses throughout the Bible.

These studies are recognized by the government of Mexico for inmate continual studies, and prisoners can receive “beneficios” (time off for good behavior) for participating in them.

Well over 100,000 Bible Studies have been delivered and completed.

Brother Scott

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in march of 1984. I was in the Navy at this time. It became my greatest desire to draw closer to God. Since that day I have been led by God's Spirit and the scriptures to live a life of Holiness. Holiness is not a bunch of rules, but rather it is the conviction and desire that I am pleasing to God in my life. These convictions are then what set the boundaries of my conduct and actions in life.
